ES POLYMER manufactures polymer insulators and surge arresters for the power sector. Each product class has its own designation system, its own normative documents and its own set of specifications.

Manufacturing technologies
We use DESMA and FINN-POWER equipment to manufacture our polymer insulators, combining production technology with our own engineering developments.
DESMA — molding the polymer housing
DESMA molding equipment ensures precise forming of the insulators’ polymer housing and a stable production process.
FINN-POWER — crimping the metal end fittings
FINN-POWER hydraulic equipment is used to crimp the metal end fittings onto the insulators’ fiberglass-reinforced rods. Monitoring the crimping parameters ensures a strong and reliable joint.
Custom engineering
Our in-house research base allows us to develop insulators to the customer’s technical requirements. We adapt the design and characteristics of our products to the operating conditions, with their cost-effectiveness in mind.
Where it is used
Product applications
Insulators for power transmission lines from 10 to 750 kV, as well as for outdoor switchgear of power plants and substations.
Insulators for railways: 3.3 kV for DC traction systems and 27.5 kV for AC traction systems.
Surge arresters for overhead contact lines, power transmission lines and AC substation equipment.
Network voltage classes according to the 2024 catalog: 0.22–220 kV.

Founded
The company was founded in 2001 in the city of Bakhmut.
Relocation
Cherkasy
Because of the war in Ukraine, the company decided to relocate to Cherkasy. This made it possible to keep its employees safe and to maintain production.
The products are certified in UKRSEPRO, the state certification system of Ukraine. The insulators are manufactured in accordance with ГОСТ 28856-90, ГОСТ 30284-97 and the Ukrainian standards СОУ МПЕ 40.1.51.301:2004 and СОУ МПЕ 40.1.41.302:2006, taking into account the requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission standards IEC 61109 and IEC 60099-4. The company holds ISO management system certificates.
